Greater Chicago Area
Charlie Frankel founded Easy-Ware in 2001 on the belief that all nonprofits should have access to comprehensive and affordable software solutions. Throughout his 30+ years of nonprofit experience, Charlie has served on the boards of more than seven different nonprofits, including auxiliary Board memberships for both the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Lookingglass Theatre Company in Chicago.

Combining his in-depth knowledge of the nonprofit world with a strong programming and business management consulting background, Charlie has led Easy-Ware and Art House Cinema Solutions to develop innovative solutions that facilitate the mission and improve the long term sustainability of their customers.

He received the 2013 Henry B Kane '24 Award from MIT in recognition of exceptional service and accomplishments in Fundraising. Charlie continues his active volunteer work with many nonprofit organizations in the Chicago area, and hopes to instill similar values in his 7-year old son, Sam.
