Nina Rao

Nina Rao is the archivist at CARE USA, a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. Founded in 1945, CARE works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice.

Prior to joining CARE, Nina was Assistant Programmer at UCLA Film & Television Archive, where she designed and facilitated archival screenings and events, including "Film Preservation Junior," a workshop for kids on film preservation. She holds an MA in Moving Image Archive Studies from UCLA.

Interests include archival exhibition and access, and connecting CARE's mission with filmmakers and venues to build community engagement and facilitate positive social change through the power of storytelling.
